Residence Specialist

Program: Residential
CNY Services is seeking candidates for both full-time and relief Residence Specialists who will be responsible to operate as a team member in providing services to residents with mental health issues and chemical addictions.
Professional Qualifications
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, listening)
- A valid and clean NYS Driver’s License and access to a vehicle
- Ability to work within a team as well as independently
- Positive customer focused attitude
- Excellent computer skills, including experience with an electronic medical record
Experience and Education
- An Associate's Degree in Human Services (preferred) or High School Diploma/GED
- At least one (1) year experience in a mental health setting and/or experience working with individuals abusing and/or addicted to alcohol and/or drugs.
Selected candidates will be required to submit a Driver’s Abstract (obtained at the DMV), obtain a criminal background check and be fingerprinted in accordance with the Office of Mental Health employment regulations.
Full-time positions are eligible for CNY Services benefits package.
Starting Salary: $22,000 (Full-time) $9.13/hr (Relief)
