The
New Directions Program provides chemical dependency services to the inmates of
Onondaga County's Jamesville Correctional Facility. Services include assessment,
individual and group counseling, and discharge planning. The staff works with
other community and county agencies in an effort to coordinate service needs for
inmates upon their release from the facility. The services also include
specialized programming for inmates with co-occurring chemical dependency and
mental illness.
